Top Wedding Pictures by Toledo Wedding Photographer, JH Photography
First of all, we just want to say how TRULY BLESSED and HONORED we are to photograph each and every wedding! Meeting each couple and being chosen as their choice Toledo wedding photographer is both exciting and humbling. We really put our heart and soul into every wedding to create a collection of stunning images. And we just LOVE looking back over the year and reliving the moments! Here’s some of our favorites! Which ones would make your top wedding picture list?
I love the whimsical, yet simple look, of Katherine just moments before she walked down the aisle. We sneaked off to a nearby grove of pines, and these two images are my favorite of her bridal portraits! To see more of Katherine and Marcus’ beautiful Apple Orchard wedding, click here.
Nazareth Hall is one of my favorite all-time locations as a wedding venue in Toledo. It’s every Toledo wedding photographer’s dream… old world look with a touch of class! I love capturing the groom and bridal portraits in a way that they compliment each other (I’m always thinking ahead to portrait framing or canvas-hanging time!). Nazareth Hall in Grand Rapids offers so many hidden treasures for portraits like the ones above of Mark and Robyn. They were married in the Grotto and held their reception in the beautiful Cadet West Hall. See more of their wedding images here.
What beautiful eyes! WOW! This is definitely one of my top wedding pictures because of Stephanie’s soft smile and aqua-green eyes. (Sorry, Dustyn! Only your chin made it into this gorgeous picture of your wife!). They were married on a beautiful day this past summer just southwest of Toledo. What a fun wedding party, too!
I knew Kathleen and Chris were going to be a joy to work with when they scheduled their winter engagement session. Why? They wanted to do a styled ‘theme’ session and loved my suggestion for a bookstore date! See their unique engagement session here! We didn’t have much time in-between their ceremony and reception, but we managed to capture some beautiful portraits at a nearby park that was dotted with weeping willows. What do you think? Is this not the most romantic spot? View more of their Toledo wedding photography at this previous post!
I always say how much I love to photograph intimate weddings. There’s just something special about having your closest and dearest family and friends close by to watch you recite your vows to one another. And it’s a great honor to be included as the photographer to capture it all with so few present! Congratulations to the Samples and their new family! The look on the bride’s face says it all! I just love Caitlin’s expression as she exits the church as the new Mrs. Acampa. Love, love, LOVE! And what a classy get-away car! See more of their stunning wedding day at Inverness Country Club here.
One of my favorite images from Kathleen and Chris’ reception. Memories by Candlelight DJ services gave candles to their wedding party to hold up close at the end of their first dance. Cozy and romantic, huh?
Staci’s father is a firefighter, and so is Jay, her new husband! Their wedding day was very rainy, so our backup plan was to head to the firehouse for some creative portraits! So glad we did! I love this image of them that truly captures their personality. And you can’t tell here, but my fabulous assistant (aka, husband, Jeremy) held the umbrella over me so I wouldn’t get soaked!
“First Looks” are becoming the newest trend with weddings. It’s a special time for the groom and bride to see each other before walking down the aisle. It’s not only good for calming any nervousness, but the grooms reaction is ALWAYS more expressive when it’s just the two of them (and me!). Plus, if the ceremony and reception time are close together, First Looks allow for portraits before the wedding. Vahid and Niloufar are two of the sweetest couples you’d ever meet! I loved being a part of their Persian wedding!
How unique is this Scottish wedding? Their kilts and the bridal sash were actually made in Scotland with the groom’s family colors and pattern! I just love all the details of their attire.
Another beautiful First Look wedding. I love Jessica’s splash of yellow in the image below! Such a creative an lovely touch for a little warmth on a cold windy day! View more of their wedding day here!
A little bit of a modern twist on the traditional wedding party portrait. We love to be creative! This image was captured on a small hill on the short walk to their outdoor ceremony site. Their wedding was held under a shaded cove of apple trees!
One of my favorite parts of the day is the sunset portraits! What more of a romantic way to remember you day by, than a beautiful kiss under the setting sun? We provide these unforgettable portraits free of charge with night-time reception coverage.
Whew! What a long post, but how fun to reminisce about the beautiful weddings we were a part of this past year! Thank you to all our fabulous couples who trusted us with the most important day of their lives. We were honored to capture your special moments!
