Chris & Silvia | Wedding Photography in Toledo
Chris and Silvia are so adorable together! They first met while Silvia worked for the Toledo Mayor’s office. Chris also worked for the city and often had to stop by her office for work. Silvia’s coworkers knew they’d be perfect for each other, so they helped set them up on their first date at a Toledo Mudhen’s game! What amazing friends! The date went great and now they are married and beginning their happily ever after!
Their wedding day was absolutely perfect! Rain threatened to flood them out, but the weather held off and it turned into a beautiful day. Chris and Silvia both got ready at their church, John the Baptist Catholic Church of Toledo. Silvia was so excited to see Chris for the first time as she walked down the aisle with her mom!
One of our favorite portraits to create for couples getting married in beautiful cathedrals is an empty sanctuary wide-angle portrait. Love this one of Chris and Silvia! The stained glass of John the Baptist Catholic Church is stunning!
We asked Silvia if she had any wedding tips for future brides that she wished she had known. She highly recommends hiring a day-of wedding coordinator! Even if your venue comes with a coordinator, if you aren’t having the reception at the same location as your ceremony, it’s so great to have someone organize moving flower arrangements and taking care of everything. We couldn’t agree more! Couples and their families should only have to focus on the fun and the moments, big and small, of their wedding day.
Awww! Isn’t their pup just the cutest?!
Their gorgeous reception was held at the Premier on Heatherdowns Blvd.
In Silvia’s home country, Columbia, it is tradition to have a La Hora Loca, or Crazy Hour, during the reception with fun masks and colorful party accessories. It was so much fun!
Congratulations again to you both, Chris and Silvia! We couldn’t be happier for you! Jon loved being a part, capturing every moment of your wedding day for you to treasure forever!
