It’s very rare that a wedding stays so perfectly to schedule from the start to the very end, and this beautiful day for John-Claude and Caitlin went without a hiccup from their ceremony at St. Catherine’s of Siena Church to their reception at the Toledo Inverness Country Club. Caitlin was ever much the lovely bride and getting to witness John-Claude’s first look at his beautiful wife-to-be as she walked towards him down the aisle was amazing! Probably one of my favorite moments of their day!
St. Catherine’s of Siena has such a feeling of home, as Brooke, the wedding coordinator from www.BeeForTheDay.com mentioned (and also why the day went so smoothly!). And it’s true! We’ve visited the original basilica of St. Catherine in Siena, Italy just a few months ago, so it was really neat to be a part of a wedding inside the Toledo parish! We also captured a stunning view of the bride and groom in the church’s doorway.
After the ceremony, we headed to the Toledo Wildwood Metropark for their formal wedding party photos. Wildwood had such a special place in their hearts, since it was at the beautiful Central Park in New York City where he proposed! Then afterwards on to the Inverness Country Club for their reception. Usually the country club’s curtains match the floor, but Caitlin had white curtains hung for the evening, and it made the room look so beautiful, clean, and open! Especially with the view over the golf course! And to end the perfect night, at dusk we snuck the couple away for some romantic sunset portraits!
(They added on a second photographer to their wedding collection, and got so many different perspectives during their wedding day! Check out the double-image frames below to see!)
