Mr. & Mrs. Benitez

Elizabeth and Roniel repeated their vows in front of their family and friends 2 weeks ago at Blessed John XXIII Church.  It was amazing to watch two people from different cultures who fell in love to be able to combine their heritages for a bilingual (and very beautiful!) ceremony.  Elizabeth was every bit the lovely bride, and Roniel the charming groom (he surprisingly dipped her for a kiss twice during the day!).  It was so much fun to capture these two on their happiest day of their lives!  Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Benitez!

Buckman Maternity

Seth and Stephanie are going to be new parents in just a few weeks!  How exciting!  I had the pleasure of watching these two get married a few years ago (they actually got engaged the same night my husband proposed to me!) and now they are about to welcome Baby Ava into the world!  I felt so blessed to be a part of this new chapter in their lives!  We started the session at Secor Park in Toledo, and then headed indoors at Stephanie’s parents’ home to finish up while it rained.  Here’s a few of my favorite images!

Ali and Katie- Engaged!

Guys…if you ever need a romantic idea for proposing, ask Ali!  The love story of this couple made my jaw hit the floor!  Ali pre-arranged an “overbooked” dinner reservation at a restaurant overlooking the docks.  The restaurant staff, all in on the plan, explained to the couple when they showed up that they would have to seat them out on the dock… and the waitress walked them through the restaurant, out the backdoor, and up the ramp of a large yacht docked there.  And what was waiting?  A candlelight dinner for two!  And a ring!  Wow!  (And all the girls reading this blog *sigh*)  🙂

For these images, we headed to downtown Toledo.  It was a little (under exaggerating!) chilly, so we started out indoors.  It usually takes me a few minutes to get everyone relaxed around the camera, but these two had it the other way around!  They had me laughing the entire session from start to finish (which is difficult to do while trying to hold the camera steady at the same time!).  What a great match!  They were so cute together!  I can’t wait to photograph their wedding… and it’s only a month away!

Timothy and Kimberly

This Saturday wedding in March turned out lovely! And forget about the rain! It threatened to pour, but held off enough for us to head outside for a few group shots after the ceremony.  My favorite moment of the day was watching Tim and Kim seeing each other for the first time as she walked down the aisle!  All the wedding planning for months on end…all for this special moment!

The Grand Plaza Hotel team was fantastic! Heather, the catering manager, coordinated everything so well and had the day running smoothly! And take a look at these reception decorations!  Jamie and her co-workers at Candlelight Occasions did a fantastic job designing the hall…it looked so glamorous!

The beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres came from In Bloom Florist, right off the main street in downtown Maumee.   (If you want an amazing florist, I always recommend these girls – They do amazing work with their floral designs!)  Duran Duran provided the music, and photoboothlive.com kept the evening fun!
